I have been longing for the Asus Google Nexus 7 2nd Gen for a month now. The fact that it's being pulled out from stores to make way for the HTC Nexus 9 makes it more valuable. I have been looking for the 32GB Nexus 7 around SM North Edsa for two weeks, and I've only seen two stores. It was really frustrating when the day came that I would buy one, and the stores weren't selling them anymore. Still, I chanced upon Gigahertz and miraculously, they have one last stock.
It wasn't a new unit, it was already opened. I was going to point it out but I was too excited to have my hands on it. It was a little disappointing tho that it was starting up really slow and the kuya had to force shut down and restart just to make it work. I was already having second thoughts on buying an opened unit. I tried to check the unit, but the store didn't have internet connection. It wasn't lagging, since there were only the preloaded apps, and no internet to update the operating system. Since it was already late, we just bought it. I told myself to just check it our when I got home.
I updated the OS from 12MN-3AM. I was able to update it to Kitkat 4.4.4 when I started downloading apps like Twitter, Tumblr, KakaoTalk, and so on. It was when I open an app that it suddenly just crashed. I started restarting it, but it was on loop on the Google logo. I did several factory resets but nothing happened. I came to the conclusion that it was a defective unit. I decided to consult online sources, but it being an "old" nexus, it's microsite has been taken down by Google.
So, anyway, I went back to Gigahertz after my 4PM class. I told them I was returning the unit and that I wanted my money back. They asked why, and I explained that the unit was defective. They asked someone to try to fix it first, told me that I can get a new unit in a few hours, if only I could just sit down. So, I did. I patiently waited, but I didn't have a Nexus 7 at the end of the day. Other branches don't have the model I bought. I told them, well then, give me back my money. They said they can't because it still need to be approved. Approved by what? In what case can it be disapproved? Surely, I should get my money back since, well obviously, I wasn't able to get my money's worth. They told me that the policy is first, try to change the unit, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE IT, so, maybe you can buy something else of the same price, BUT I DON'T WANT TO. I am buying an Asus Google Nexus 7, 32GB because it is now being pulled out from the market. I payed for it, and that's what I want. Why are they telling me what to get for my money? So, they told me to calm the shit down and promised that they will call their supplier and promised that I will get my unit within the week.
What has Gigahertz SM North Edsa violated? 1. It is printed on the receipt that there is an outright 7 day return/exchange for defective units. Which can not be according to RA 7394 Consumer Act of the Philippines.
2. It is the choice of the buyer if he/she wants a refund or an exchange. The store can not insist that they exchange the unit. RA 7394.
I am just really disappointed that most stores insist they make money. And I am quite disappointed that because of this, most Filipinos would think they don't have the right to return or exchange defective goods. Nevertheless, I just want my Nexus 7 on Thursday as they promised. And whether or not I get it, I will make sure to file a complaint in DTI. Marcgell and I went to ATC for the gaming expo. We participated in the scavengers hunt by PC Express. We also met up with his couple orgmates to eat. Basically, we went out for a date before I needed to leave for the Bihawo Outreach, when something really weird happened. Lady Boss asked if I was bringing Marcgell along. I told her that she already said one too many "no non-KappaThEDs allowed". She said papayag naman s'ya basta magpaalam ng maayos. So, I took advantage and asked if I could bring my boyfriend along. Luckily, I was able to bring him along, for the second time around.
I asked Marcgell to lend me shirts because I no longer had clothes. We ended up looking crazy on the first day of the outreach.
I'm really not good with kids. I will murder them. I swear. But, you know, I couldn't because we were there to help them instead. Haha. I was able to endure a day-long play-work with the kids. We did lectures on disaster preparedness, too. Mine was totally impromptu, because, well, I didn't research, I didn't listen, too. But, I think I did a pretty good job with the basics. Haha :) I loved the part where we gave out sleepers. Most kids preferred looks over quality. It is one of the many luxuries their situation can not afford. I tried my best to convince them to go for the quality, but, kids will be kids. We were there to make them happy.

The night at Dawal, I was not able to enjoy to the fullest. When Irah and I went in our room to rest after dinner, we fell asleep. Funny thing is, Marcgell and ML were there watching TV with us. THEY DIDN'T EVEN WOKE US UP. They just left us and went to drink and have fun with the rest of the world. Brod Love jokingly said it was really what ML and Marcgell planned, to get us to bed early so they can have a look-out for possible hit-ons. When Irah and I woke up, it was already curfew, they were no longer releasing drinks, and everyone were told to go to bed. Bad thing, too, was Marcgell being kinda drunk. Since I'm not the kind that takes care of drunk people (since I'm the drunk person, on most occasions), Irah took care of my boyfriend for me. Haha. ML and I were just cheerleaders. Irah and I had a private pool party the next day, well, not that private. We were joined by Inah, Albei, and our boyfriends ML and Marcgell. They tried teaching us to swim. Hahaha. :)) We also had some chismis over lunch.

[A/N] I will try my best to make this as honest and revealing as I can get.
Before I went to bed, the last thing I remember is thinking of Nikka Apostol. I was texting her on my mind about the type of girls we were: cutie, animated, colorful, petite... Then all of a sudden I was in a room.
It was a block room, one side didn't have a wall and opened to what looked like a typical western neighborhood. Let's call this side "the hole". Opposite to that side, there was a single door. I was seated facing the door. Out came Jemar and Ashley, saying their hi's before leaving through the hole. Followed by Fed, amazingly holding a ball. Then came my first group of friends: Mea, Nae, and Paula. Nae sat across me, and on her right was Paula. Mea sat on my left. There was a table, btw.
"Ano 'yung issue na sabi nila, lagi nalang daw kayong sunod samin ni Mea?" Nae asked. I honestly don't know what she's talking about.
"Never heard of that issue."
"'Yung ano, sabi nga nila lagi lang daw kayong sunod samin?"
"Hind ko nga alam kung ano 'yan." I said, a little annoyed. I look at Paula who was playing with Nae's hair.
"Kunwari ka lang na hindi mo alam, pero alam kong alam mo." To me, I thought she was implying something, but her voice and facial expression are all too innocent.
"Hindi 'yan ang naririnig kong issue. Katext ko lang si Nikka kanina, wala naman kaming napag-usapang ganyan."
Nae made a "okay, whatever" face.
"Eh, ikaw. Bat ba ang init ng ulo mo sakin? Nakikipagbati ako sayo, ayaw mo. Hindi kita papansin, ayaw mo. Magrereact ako, ayaw mo. Ano ba talagang gusto mo?"
Paula let go of Nae's hair and sat straight, looking quite distressed. Nae, just looked, disappointed. I look at Mea and she was, idk why, blank. Non-moving, looking far beyond her knees. Not smiling, not frowning. Just blank.
"Bakit ba hindi tayo makapagbati-bati? We were friends before, it shouldn't be a problem." "Sabi ko kasi sayo, eh-" I don't know who Paula directed this statement to.
And then Nix came saying she received my text.

RIP, Freedom of Speech & Freedom of Expression
I moved my blog in a not so very secret place, and here goes nothing...
I have read most of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, but not all of it. I may be wrong and I apologize in advance to whoever might get offended with this post.
We are in the digital age. We use our computers and phones to communicate, share, and discover. Facebook and Twitter have both became powerful tools of information dissemination. Aside from products and services, and events, and people, politic propaganda has also reached the said social networking site. Supporters of politicians bash each other. Parody accounts humiliated and branded a lot of corrupt and obviously incompetent politicians. But this "law" is beyond Facebook status and Twitter updates.
I am sure that at one point in our lives we have illegally downloaded copyrighted music, photos, videos; and some probably illegally shared their illegally acquired media. It is not that we want to harm industries that are concerned. When I was first introduced to the internet, I did not know that I was doing something illegal. I might have downloaded gigabytes of illegal media before I found out it was wrong. But, I could not do much about it. I did not know how to buy songs online, or why the need to pay for hard copies of magazines that had scans. And, how about our anime? Should I fly to Japan and buy them, and there won't be any subtitles, too?! And besides, it's already uploaded, I might as well take advantage of it.
Still, the Government is right: sharing copyrighted files is illegal.
I have been ranting for 5 years know, about school, about life, sometimes about the Government, too. I express my opinions and my raged thoughts. I believe it is my freedom to say what I want in my blog. It is, afterall, my blog. I am not asking my readers to agree with me. I am just starting an argument in their minds, to start them thinking on their own. I fuel their interest.
I would understand censoring Facebook and Twitter. This may be hard for me to say, but, I guess it makes sense. A lot of people will be influenced if someone said something in FB and Twitter. Worse part is, most of these people would not even know the whole story. Because it is a social networking site, you most like scroll through it, LIKE it, or RETWEET it, and then move on to the other topics shared. Because of the fast-paced online life in social networking sites, we either agree or disagree, most of the time without question.
But, a Cybercrime Prevention Law is not the answer to this. Whichever angle you look at it, this is an oppression of the Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Expression. Why not just tell people to be informed first before liking a page or a post, or before sharing a propaganda photo. (Okay, look who's talking, the girl who didn't even read the act in it's entirety).
How about cybersex? Seriously, guys. Do we still need to talk about this? If women and kids are being sold online, then, yes, that is obviously illegal. I'm sure there's a law for that already. But, what about two knowing, willing people (gender sensitive)? I think it is my choice to send a nude picture to my boyfriend if he asked for it. If I was offended we could talk about it like grown-ups. If I was harassed, why did I even have him as my boyfriend in the first place, right? Anyway, you say, what if they are strangers who just met online. One time they agreed to do webcam, then suddenly, the other party is jerkin' off. Well, I say, close that shit and delete that person from your network. You know, you have the power to block people from whatever accounts you are using. That's the magic of internet, baby.
I think it is time for us to grow up. This should not be such a big issue. It doesn't need a genius to figure out that this Cybercrime Prevention Law is just another excuse to use taxpayers' money.

[A/N] This is published late. The date lies.
Sumakay ako ng jeep sa may SC. Papunta akong Philcoa para i-meet si Nica. Sa may Engg/Tennis court shed, may sumakay na family: 2 brothers, sister, dad. Mukhang nag-jog sila. Magkaharap sila, and are occupying most of the seat.
May sumakay sa may Music. Itong magkuya, ayaw umusog. Yung brothers, wala, nagtatawanan parin playing with their phones. Eh di, ako, naasar na talaga. Napalakas 'yung pagsabi ko ng, "exccuse me. Kuya. Pausog." At nung tumingin pa kasi sila, inirapan ko pa. Taray no?
I wanted to say sorry, I felt bad.
Why is their father wrong?
1. Magkaharap yung magkapatid. Hindi sila naka-earphones. Hindi sila bulag. IMPOSIBLENG HINDI NILA NAPANSING MAY SUMAKAY.
Tayuan? Tayo nalang yung mga bagong sakay?
Kasi may baril ako.

PEOPLE WHO CAN'T WRITE, STOP MAKING BLOGS. YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE INTRICATE LAWS OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
Boohoo.
[EDIT]
Okay, fine. People have their right to express themselves in ways they fancy. But, if running naked is prohibited by the law, writing blog posts should also be monitored closely. The cyber world is getting infiltrated by hipster. First with Facebook, and now advancing with Tumblr and Twitter. Before, there were only instagram crazies... but, now... They have discovered writing! O_o

A memorandum was released last acad year about class suspension. Class will be suspended ONLY IF ONE OF THE FOLLOWING APPLIES: 1. blackout and/or debris is clattered throughout the campus; 2. C5 and/or PhilCoA (Commonwealth) are experiencing heavy traffic. Aside from these, declaration from CHEd and the government applies without the need of verification from the chancellor.
This past week, tbh, it hasn't been really rainy. It's just windy. Which makes it worst when it does actually rain. So, classes weren't suspended. "A little wind won't hurt."
And then the incident in the 4th floor happened. The "little wind" crashed a window and three students were hurt and rushed to the infirmary. Classes were then suspended in the 4th floor of AS only. Because that's where the "little wind" is deadly.
I think the second reason for suspension is a little insensitive. Take for instance my sisses Ienne and Cams, biological sisters, from Malabon. Malabon is experiencing heavy rain, and transportation is a killer. I quote the memorandum, " In principle, students are excused from attending classes if they are unable to travel to UP Diliman from their respective residences due to flood and other natural calamities." It is the same as saying, "Fine, don't attend your classes, I understand. But we're still having class, anyway. You'll miss the class. But, who cares, safety first!"
Such a crazy week. Labels: #rant, #update, %english, `school, suicidal, text

[AN] I found this last night. IDK what I was trying to write, lol. Here is it exactly:
AN: This is pure
fiction. Events and characters in this piece of work are fragments of the
authors imagination.
I remember fully,
the feeling of the cold floor, the smell of alcohol, your laughter vibrating
through the walls. It was a Saturday night, December 10 of 2010, and I just
finished my final exam in Math. You texted me right after my schedule.
"Hi, babe. Meet me at T on 8. Let's celebrate." I wasn't really in
the mood to celebrate since my Math just killed my brain. But, because you are
my boyfriend... No, wait.... Because I am your girlfriend, and that you say so,
I'll do so.
On the countless
times we've spent nights together, I guess one more won't hurt. We never really
did anything wrong. We never had sex. So, I never told my parents. They never
ask, so, I guess they don't really care. Even if they did ask, I don't think they'll
understand what we had. Well, now that I look back, I didn't understand what we
had. We always said it was pure love, but I doubt that now. What is love? What
did we have?
Anyway, I went back
to the boarding house to change into sexy clothes. I don't usually put make-up
on, but, I think a little bit would mask my depression from the exam. I check
the time and my digital clock reads 7:30 PM. It didn't took me long before I got
a cab. "Manong, idaan mo na sa Katipunan, diretso. Alam ko 'yung daan,
'wag niyo kong dadayain." The taxi driver gave me an ugly look and drove
off. Right now would be a good time to say that "a million things were
running through my mind." But to be honest, all I was thinking of was:
"I hope this ends fast." I was not as nervous as the first time we
went out, or as thrilled when I realized the risk in all these. I wasn't even
looking forward to seeing you.
I dialled your
number as I arrived at the restobar. "I reserved us a corner this
time," you said. I asked what we're celebrating exactly. You said to just
come and find out. The low beats welcome me as I open the door. I went straight
to the booths to look for you. You seriously reserved a corner for us. How much
did that cost you? Well, I guess less than it cost me after that night. You
were acting kinda funny that night. You didn't wait for me to reach the table,
you stood up and met me half way. And we kissed. It wasn't an unusual sight in
that place, but, I guess you wanted me to feel that you're proud I'm your
girlfriend. Okay, you were wooing me.
"What's with
all these?"
"Today's the
day, babe," you took my hand and kissed it. So cliche.
"The day of
what? It's not our anniversary, it's far from our birthdays, it's not yet
Christmas."
"I love you,
Nancy. You know that."
"Yes, Josh, I
know."
It was always like
that. You remind me that you love me and the conversation is over. You are
in-charge of our relationship.

1. There is not enough love. Siguro lonely lang kayo, or trip, or tanga-tanga lang.
2. There's no trust / loyalty. Either, naglolokohan lang talaga kayo, or talagang walang tiwala.
3. There's no time for a relationship. Busy-busy'han. Iba ang priorities mo, which can be smart.
4. There's someone better.
5. "I am not happy." Hindi ka kontento. Hindi ka masaya.
6. (time in relationship) IS NOT PROPORTIONAL TO (strength of relationship) Hindi gumaganda ang relationship n'yo over time.
Hindi porket nagka-boyfriend(girlfriend) ka na ng lima and you're still 19, ibig sabihin bitch ka na, slut ka na.
Mag-boboyfriend ka kasi masaya ka with that person.
MAKIKIPAGHIWALAY KA, KASI THERE IS SOMEONE BETTER THAN HIM/HER. Someone who will love you no matter what.
CHAKA! Kung mahal ka niya, masaya ka dapat!

[AN: This entry has been sitting in my drafts for such a long time. I think it's about time to post it.]
I have always been enthusiastic about my sorority. I have actively participated in the activities, and practiced the ideals the sorority goes by.
Truth and Enlightenment through service to all.
People will always think of PARTYING, DRINKING, HAZING, when the words fraternity or sorority are talked about. I confess, before being a part of a sorority, I always thought people in frats and sors are dangerous, irresponsible, and tactless.
I owe my being a lady to Inah. She was the one to invite me. When she asked me if I wanted to join, I was skeptical. I told her I didn't have time for any trouble. And she said, "ipapahamak ba naman kita?" Inah, being my senior from high school, and knowing her as a responsible student, a role mode, I believed her.
I was oriented that same day. Everything Mommy Cams, MemComm head then, kept me holding on. The services they do for the people were amazing: an adopted school, an annual blood drive, and more. What I was doubting was their application process: NO 3Ps. No Pera, No Public humiliation, No Paddle. I was then also an applicant at UP Rep, an org, who violated aspects of my life, but I pretended not to care, and... I just snapped. I am not joining an org who can not respect me as an applicant. I chose to join Theta Epsilon instead.
I also promised to join that same day. In a span of an hour, a whole new life opened up in-front of me.
I am proud of my sorority. We share a bond that's beyond being friends. The respect among the members, the openness, the love... The people I have to be with are great. Everyone is smart and witty, and they share their knowledge. I am proud of all my sisters. They are not just girls in dresses and high-heeled shoes. They are respectable women, with pretty faces and beautiful hearts.
I love Theta Epsilon Sorority! :) Labels: #drama, %english, `friends, `me, `school, happy, text

DISCLAIMER: I've spent many hours of gaming online, but I am far from being a reliable source in the said area. However, something has been happening to me recently and I just want to share the experience.
Last year, my bestfriend [though I don't know if he feels the same way towards me{GAAAYYY}] Raymart and I were really excited when we heard about DotA 2 [was it just last year?]. We went and made our accounts at Steam immediately, hoping that we'll get DotA 2 beta keys. Unfortunately, we didn't know that you needed to fill up a survey first. And we just knew about that survey part this year. Pathetic. But luckily, we got our beta keys anyway.
THE DAY[s] WE GOT OUR BETA KEYS
i played using his account.
met a friend also playing.
the friend had an extra key.
{btw, my bestfriend got it from our friend's big brother}
**now back to the story-telling**
With only about 100 hours of DotA 2 gameplay, I have already seen the beauty of its community.
1. Finding friends
the game creates an efficient environment where you cn easily interat with other plyers. and it kida forces you to find trusted players. i used the word 'forces' because in the matchmaking part of the game, you will have random teammates unless you are in a party. but even if you joined a party, you can't be certain if they are good players. that's the importance of finding friends. you'll be able to choose good players by adding them to your friend list and whenever they are online, you will be able to play with them. i know that many games use this system but the difference is that this is DotA. and DotA is all about trashtalking and bashing. but seeing this kind of system applied on DotA is nothing short of a miracle.
2. Chat
The chatting system is also easy and convenient. while in-game, you can chat with people not participating in the game. its fast and minimal. nothing fancy but complete and solid. it does not open multiple windows but instead consolidated in one and separated by tabs. also, you have the ability to chat without minimizing the game.
3. Commending
another great feature is the ability to commend another player for a great performance. aside from the number of wins, this can also serve as a good basis in choosing your teammates. sometimes, friends just commend eachother for the sake of increasing it and sometimes there are those that really received them through hard work. you will benefit regardless because if the former is true, then that means that person has many friends and if the latter is true, well, no need to say more.
4. Scores
you can choose to participate in a private or public match. if you are practicing and is not that confident, you should play in private mode first. also, this can be a good place to find skilled teammates to play with in the public mode. unlike private matches, public matches will be recorded as a win or a lose and one extra score; 'abandoned'. in DotA 1, quitters were a huge problem as it destroys the fun and competitiveness of the game. and it annoys the shit out of the players that did not quit. it destroys the efficieny. it leads to wasted time and wasted hard work. so DotA 2 added 'abandoned' so that the quitters will be filtered away from those that stick to the game till the very end. the quitters will also be in low priority when doing public mode.
wow... feels like i just made a senseless post.
thats it for now. kbye <.< Labels: #cw, #manic, #random, %english, text

I have been longing for the Asus Google Nexus 7 2nd Gen for a month now. The fact that it's being pulled out from stores to make way for the HTC Nexus 9 makes it more valuable.

{btw, my bestfriend got it from our friend's big brother}

The cat loves to purr, and meow, and hiss. She's a very noisy cat, obviously. Kitty loves to sleep, next to her love for food. Food she loves include pizza, pasta, crepes, pancakes, cakes, milktea, burgers, etc. She loves being worshipped. Bow down to me!!! She loves cuddles, unless we're not close, eew don't touch me freak.
This kitty is in-love with a non-reacting bunny. He's always acting cool, and fails at it. He is crazy and loves computers.
This is still pretty much under construction; hence the emptiness.
